F27 Nitrogen Ice Cream 0pens its doors, bringing an innovative new twist to ice cream making as we know it today. Owner Carlouis de Palma turned his business school project and interest in science and engineering into a new franchise of stores operating first at Westfield Broward Mall before opening his second location in the Ironside district.
F27’s name is an acronym for fahrenheit 27, the temperature ice creams begins to freeze. Their custom designed machines then disperse the liquid nitrogen over the vanilla-cream or vegan liquid base, creating a cloud-like form and freezing the base into ice cream in just sixty seconds. The results are a premium quality ice cream with a velvety smooth texture, ready to be mixed with toppings of choice.
“Liquid nitrogen is the future of ice cream making and offers a wow-factor surprise to the norm. I also wanted to expand my business and the F27 experience to the next up-and-coming district. I did not think twice about having my business here – the people, the entrepreneurial spirit and atmosphere was all it took to make my decision,” says Carlouis de Palma, founder and owner of F27 Nitrogen Ice Cream. “I’ve also developed the perfect ABC franchise model for new entrepreneurs to expand to Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, backed by industry experience and knowledge of multiple cultures and positioning in the market.”
F27 Nitrogen Ice Cream is open Monday -Thursday, 7-11 p.m., and 3-11 p.m., Friday-Sunday, and is located in the piazza adjacent to Ironside Pizza. Follow their Instagram for up-to-date events, new flavors and offerings.
